Shushan Wang 王纾珊
BEd, Yunnan Normal University · IMCPI certified · YCT 1–3
Shushan holds a bachelor’s in Education from Yunnan Normal University, a senior teacher qualification and the IMCPI International Chinese Teacher Certificate.
She has taught since 2010: martial arts and Tai Chi for international students, Chinese and Tai Chi in Germany, and since 2022 online Chinese classes and teacher training.
She brings movement into every lesson and is known for her festival-themed classes.

- Log in with the same emailThe class appears in My Courses on the portal. Replays are added there after each class.
- Join the live classAt class time, open the portal on a phone, tablet or computer and join. Keep your child's first class in your calendar using the times above.
Good to know
- YCT 1 live classes are free.
- Replays are in the portal, so missed classes can be caught up.
- When your child is ready, YCT 2 continues with the same teacher.
Questions
Before you join
What age is this for?
Usually ages 6–9, but level matters more than age. If you’re unsure, watch a sample YCT lesson together first.
Does a parent need to sit with my child?
Younger children do best with a parent nearby for the first few classes, mainly to help with the device. After that most can join on their own.
What is the YCT?
The Youth Chinese Test, the official Chinese exam for school-age learners, run by Chinese Testing International (chinesetest.cn). Classes follow its levels, and taking the exam is optional.
Can’t make the live time?
Every class is recorded. The replay appears in the portal after class, so your child can catch up and join live when possible.
Is it really free?
Yes. YCT 1 live classes have no charge. YCT 2–4 are paid monthly classes.
What do I need?
A phone, tablet or computer with a stable connection. Headphones with a microphone help with speaking practice.
How do I cancel?
Email [email protected] from the email you signed up with and we’ll stop the renewal. Access continues until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
