Cathy Zhu 朱冬静
MA in International Chinese Education, BLCU · HSK 6
Cathy is a native Mandarin teacher with a master’s in International Chinese Education from Beijing Language and Culture University.
She teaches online and at BLCU, where she has also coordinated Chinese Bridge programmes. Her students have come from the US, UK, Russia, Indonesia, Italy, Spain, France, Mexico and more.
Calm and practical, she is good at finding a way through the specific problems advanced learners get stuck on, with clear explanations in English.

- Get your login emailWe email you access to the ChinoEasy student portal (powered by ELINK). Log in with the same email you paid with.
- Join the live classAt class time, open the portal on a phone, tablet or computer and join. Put your first class in your calendar using the times above.
Your subscription
- $99 a month, charged on the same date each month.
- Cancel any time. You keep access until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
- Payments already made are not refunded.
- Replays of every class stay in your portal while you’re subscribed.
- One price covers every live class in the month, however many you attend.
Questions
Before you join
Is HSK 6 the highest level?
It is the highest level of HSK 1–6. The HSK 3.0 scale goes on to levels 7–9, which are tested together in a separate exam.
Can’t make the live time?
Every class is recorded. The replay appears in the portal after class, so you can catch up and join live when possible.
What do I need?
A phone, tablet or computer with a stable connection. Headphones with a microphone help with speaking practice.
How do I cancel?
Email [email protected] from the email you signed up with and we’ll stop the renewal. Access continues until the end of the month you’ve paid for.
Old HSK or HSK 3.0?
The HSK switches to the 3.0 format worldwide on 13 December 2026 (announced on chinesetest.cn on 9 September 2026). If you have a test date, tell your teacher in your first class so practice matches the format you will sit.
Can I move up or down a level?
Yes. If the class feels too easy or too hard after the first weeks, tell your teacher and we’ll help you move to the right class.
